Anambra State Govt Directs Communities To Remove Bumps On Asphalted Roads
Anambra state government has directed Presidents General of
all town unions to remove all bumps installed along all the asphalted roads in
the state to permit free flow of traffic and to protect the life span of the
road infrastructure.
In a release signed by the Director Highways, Engineer
Achike Onuorah on behalf of the Commissioner for Works, all Presidents General
should adhere strictly to the directive.
It further stated that the move is in line with recent EXCO
directive on installation of bumps on roads in Anambra State.
It warned that communities who fail to comply with this
directive will face the consequences.
