145 die in Ukraine plane crash
A UKRAINIAN plane that crashed outside Tehran yesterday
morning killed all the passengers on board.
Ukraine Foreign Minister, Vadym Prystaiko, said that about
82 Iranians and 63 Canadians were among passengers in the flight.
According to a post on his Twitter handle, Prystaiko said
that about 11 Ukrainians, 10 Swedes, four Afghans, three Germans, and three
Britons the Boeing-737 were also on board the plane. The post also added that
the crashed Boeing was new with checks carried out on it two days ago.
“The plane was manufactured in 2016, it was received by the
airline directly from the (Boeing) factory. The plane underwent its last
planned technical maintenance on January 6, 2020,” the statement reads.
Ukraine International Airlines said that full list of the
passengers will be released as soon as possible
