Anambra Airport: Gov Obiano inspects 4.3km dual carriage access road



Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano earlier today inspected the ongoing Anambra International Airport dual-carriage way.


The Governor who was excited on sighting the quality and pace of work on the road thanked the Construction Company for their efforts so far and reiterated that all the three roads leading to the Anambra International Airport will be completed in a record time.

"...leading to the Airport, we have three roads. One from Nsugbe-Umueri axis if you are coming from Onitsha, and another from Nteje-Umueri axis for those within Nteje, Umueri and Omambala axis; and then, we have this one, which is the major high way to the Airport.

"All these are geared towards making sure that we don't have traffic jam along the Airport Road and also to make it easily asccessible with modern aesthetic feel for ndi Anambra and Nigerians.

"We are committed to ensuring that all these roads are completed with the best road infrastructures and we will finish them sooner than expected..." Gov Obiano said.

The 4.3Km dual carriage way which is designed to have all the state of the art infrastructures is being handled by Kanubeen Construction Company Ltd.

You may recall that Gov Obiano recently announced the commitment of his administration to deliver the first Anambra State International Airport in less than 18 months.
