2023 ELECTION : I Might Be Nigeria’s Consensus Candidate – Peter Obi

 

Peter Obi has said he might emerge as Nigeria’s consensus candidate in the 2023 presidential election.

NAIJA NEWS NG reports that Obi said this while speaking to Journalists at his Onitsha GRA home on Saturday. He claimed that he has supporters across all political parties.

The former Anambra State Governor said the person who will succeed President Muhammadu Buhari will be picked. He added that he would do a proper consultation.

They didn’t say the consensus is from a particular section; it might be consensus for Nigeria, and as we are going around, we shall be discussing everything.

“You never know I might be the consensus candidate. I agree we shall be talking to each other and in the end, we shall find out who is the best for the job,” he said.

He urged Nigerians to investigate and interrogate aspirants to uncover their previous achievements and failures, stressing that his antecedents will speak favorably for him.
