Enugu police rescue 4 kidnapped victims , sustain manhurt

Police operatives serving in Iwollo Division of Enugu Police Command, in synergy with Neighborhood Watch personnel and Forest Guards, at about 10am on Saturday, rescued in a forest at Akama-Oghe in Ezeagu Local Government Area, three male and one female victims, reported to have been kidnapped along 9th-Mile/Eke/Akama-Oghe Road, on Friday, at about 8pm.
They also recovered a black-coloured Mercedes Benz car belonging to one of the victims, while all the victims have been debriefed and reunited with their families.
Statement made available by the command's public relations officer(PPRO) DSP Dan Ndukwe said that the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Ammani, has ordered tactical operatives of the command to sustain ongoing manhunt of the kidnapping suspects, who abandoned the victims and escaped due to the intense pressure mounted by the operatives to rescue the victims and apprehend them.
