We've created structures to make yuletide enjoyable - Ibezim

Anambra State Deputy Governor, Onyekachukwu Ibezim has restated that the Governor Charles Soludo led administration has sustained the fight against insecurity in the state.

Dr Ibezim stated this  while controlling traffic in some of the areas being considered as  hotspots in Awka, and called on ndi Anambra to come home as " Anambra is safe for Christmas celebrations".

According to  Dr Ibezim, "we identified the hot


spots in Anambra State and in collaboration with the existing government structure that controls traffic, it will help in free flow of traffic in the state".

The deputy governor assured ndi Anambra of less traffic on roads during the yuletide season. "For us, we will spend our Christmas on the road because we want our people to have free flow of traffic. We don't want any road to be congested in the state ".

He warned the security officials on checkpoints    to stop delaying Anambra families that are coming home, charging them to do their jobs with humility and integrity.

 "Ndi Anambra, come home and enjoy your state. The governor, Prof Soludo has created smooth structures that will enable  the yuletide season enjoyable. Anambra State must be livable,  prosperous and smart Mega city state".


Dr Ibezim personally controlled traffic  in all the hotspots in Awka.

He was accompanied by  the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of  Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency, (ARTMA),  Emeka Okonkwo,  Deputy Protocol to the Governor, ( Office of the Deputy Governor),   Emma Obiozor, among others.
