NBA to prosecute lawyers involved in vandalism at conference

 

The outgoing Nigeria Bar Association President, Olumide Akpata, has said that lawyers found to be complicit in the vandalization of conference booths, theft of phones, and assault on officials would be prosecuted. 

 Akpata who made the announcement at the ongoing Annual General Conference on Thursday August 25, also explained why there was delayed distribution of conference bags during the event.

 He said; 

 “No one said we will not encounter difficulties in life but the hall mark is how quickly do we resolve such difficulties.

“Gentlemen of the Bar, I thank you so much. It can only get better.”
