Fire Guts INEC Office

 Fire has gutted one of the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Zamfara State.

Reports says that the inferno affected the commission’s facility in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of the state.

The inferno which started at about 9pm on Monday reportedly razed the entire building.

Residents who were at the scene revealed that firefighters arrive at the scene in good time to put out the fire, but could not due to shortage of water in their tank.

As at the time of this report, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained as reports says nothing could be removed from the office.
