No Religion Allows Or Promote Extra-judicial Killings – Says Dino Melaye

 

One of the most tragic events that are currently trending on social media is the death of a 200-level female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto state, identified as Deborah Samuel.

According to reports, she was beaten and burnt alive by some group of angry Muslims over blasphemy statements toward prophet Muhammad.

Since the news of her death hit the internet, many Nigerians have been reacting to the incident. Among these individuals is the famous Nigerian senator, Senator Dino Melaye.

In a recent post shared by the senator, he said in his words, “I condemn in the strongest terms the killing of Deborah. Very sad and provocative. No religion to the best of my knowledge allows or promotes extra-judicial killing. May her soul rest in peace”.
