I Was Thinking No Man Would Marry Me Like This”- Burn survivor, Princess Ezeani

A young Nigerian lady identified as Princess Ezeani has narrated how she suffered from the trauma of the first degree burns she survived last year.

According to Princess Ezeani; She was a victim of domestic fire accident last year, and thought everything about her has come to an end including her modeling career because the scar made her ugly.

The 20 years old fast rising model and student made this known during an interview with BBC News Pidgin few days ago.

Princess Ezeani further narrated her story while on an interview with BBC; according to her, the unfortunate incidence which left her face disfigured, happened in november last year.

“My mother was in the kitchen preparing rice for the whole family, so I decided to help her by cooking the fish that we will use to garnish the rice. I went straight to put on our gas cooker, and unknown to me that my mum has already switched on it’s over, and that was how the cooker exploded and disfigured my face.

At first, I thought my world has come to an end because no man would like to marry someone that has this degree of scar on the face. My modelling career also dwindled as no agent would want to hire me because of my now ugly face, but God came through for me despite passing through depression and sad moments when I had the scar on my face.

Right now, the scar has healed after my mum and aunt asked me to be applying honey, geevee on it after I got discharged from the hospital.

I can now go back to school, and pursue my career and dreams now that it has healed”
