Friendly: Akwa United, Enyimba clash in Uyo

Akwa United will take on Enyimba, the reigning Nigeria Professional Football League champions, in a friendly encounter on Wednesday.

The friendly match is billed for the Uyo Township Stadium.

The match is put together to prepare the two teams for the 2023–24 NPFL season.

Enyimba will participate in the CAF Champions League qualifiers against Libyan side Al Ahli in Benghazi later this month.

Akwa United’s newly appointed head coach, Fatai Osho, will use the encounter to assess the readiness of his newly recruited players for the upcoming season.
