Soludo, PPSSC Commend Ayabazu On His Effect In Building Education

Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has commended the efforts of Prince Emeka Ayabazu in moving education to a global level.

Speaking at the occasion of the 2022 edition of Anambra State Finals of Prince Emeka Ayabazu's Science, Technology and Mathematics quiz and fair competition in Awka, Soludo who was represented by

the commissioner of education Anambra State, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh said anyone who invests in the life of the younginvestss in posterity and the future of Anambra.

"Let us move this initiative further. It needs to be made public. It should be televised and digitalized so that everyone will witness it. Parents will be proud to see their children on TV and the students will be happy to be aired. 

"We appreciate and celebrate a man who has sustained these competitions for years and is encouraging our students to continue making Anambra proud. 

The Executive Secretary of  Anambra State Post Primary School Service Commission (PPSSC) Mrs. Ndidi Stella Oranusi in her address congratulated all the students who made it to the finals stating that the commission appreciate the charitable act of Ayabazu. 

Uranus prayed to God to continue to bless and strengthen the sponsor of the competition. She pleaded with Ndi-Anambra to emulate the kind act of Ayabazu in moving education to a global level.

Prince Emeka Ayabazu (Nwachinemelu Nnewi) while narrating how the competition began said after the maiden edition which was co-sponsored in partnership with some philanthropists and organizations, he has continued to sponsor it alone since 2009 both in the Nnewi zone.

Ayabazu who was represented by Sir Emmanuel Amaechi Okeke commended teachers for their efforts in grooming the students. He also congratulated all the students who made it to the finals urging them to keep the flag flying. 

Ayabazu commended the state government for their efforts in making sure that education is sustained and uplifted.

It will be recalled that Ayabazu received an award of excellence in 2021 by the Anambra State government in recognition of his efforts in building education in the state.


Nnakenyi Chisom of Maria Regina Nnewi scored 86 points to come to the first position. 2nd position was Emekegbuna Chinecherem of Queen of Rosary College, Onitsha with 85 points and Ezewune Favor of LSSS Adazi came 3rd with 83 points.

Others are Odigwe Chisom of LSSS Adaza came 4th with 82 points. Nwaje Soluchukwu of DMGS Onitsha came 5th with 81 points while Abara Elvis of St Charles College Onitsha came 6th with 80 points.

Awards and gifts were presented to the above students for coming to six.
