8 players to leave Barcelona this summer

Barcelona might part ways with at least eight players during the summer transfer window, according to AS.

Since Xavi Hernandez took over from Ronald Koeman, the LaLiga team has improved significantly.

Xavi brought in Adama Traore, Ferran Torres, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January window and they have all made an immediate impact.

There is expected to be a high turnover of players at the end as Xavi and Barca look to put together a squad capable of challenging for trophies in the long term.

For that to be achieved, sales will have to be made, and the Catalans are prepared to let eight players depart Camp Nou ahead of 2022/2023.

Neto, Sergi Roberto, Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti, Oscar Mingueza, Riqui Puig, Martin Braithwaite, and Luuk de Jong are all said to feature on that list.

Memphis Depay, whose current deal expires in 2023, may also leave, but that depends on whether Barcelona views the Dutch forward as a long-term option.
