Fires razes 86 shops in Yobe

 

86 shops in Patiskum main market in Dogo Nini ward, Patiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State, have been razed down by fire.

 Chairman of Traders Association in the Market, Alhaji Nasiru Mato, told Daily Trust that the fire incident which occurred on Sunday, January 8, around 8:36pm destroyed property and goods worth N40 million in the market.

 Mato added that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Here are photos from the scene below.......
