New Year: Move on with renewed hope - Mrs Obiano

Wife of the governor of Anambra State and founder, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme), has urged  Anambra women and all Nigerians to approach the New year with renewed hope and vigour despite the challenges of the past.

Dr Mrs Obiano, who  made the call in a Special New Year message signed by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to Anambra State Governor, Mr. Emeka Ozumba in Awka, noted that with hope and trust in God, a lot will be accomplished this year.

  According to her : "The fact that we survived the fast ending year with its attendant challenges is enough impetus for us to approach the New Year with greater hope and belief in God to change things for the better."

She maintained that one cannot afford to despair, but rather everybody should approach the new year with renewed hope and vigour, which is the only  way to build positively on every aspect of their daily lives.

 "I have no doubt that the New Year will see us gradually move with renewed hope and triumph from the challenges of health and economic hardship to great accomplishments", she stated. 

Osodieme reiterated the need for people to be their brothers and sisters keepers by supporting the less privileged in the society, especially in times of privation and  promised to sustain the various skills training and programmes of CAFE which targets and empowers indigent widows, women and youths as well other life-changing interventions in the new year. 

The governor's wife called for prayers and collective support for the New Year to  bring new hope and prosperity to everyone.
