Cocoa trader commits suicide in Osun

 

A cocoa trader in Osun state, Festus Olawale, has reportedly committed suicide in his cocoa store in Gbongan, Osun State.

 

 

 

According to reports, Olawale, 43, reportedly took his life by hanging himself in one of the rooms in his cocoa store located at Oke Ola area of the town on Friday, August 14.

 

 

 

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the state police command, Yemisi Opalola, said the reason for the suicide is yet unknown as the deceased who is a father of four, did not leave behind a suicide note or acted strangely before the incident.

 

 

 

She said an investigation has commenced.
