Committee Rounds off Public Books Presentation Media Tour

                            

The Media tour ahead of  Sir Chuka Nnabuife's Public Books presentation has been rounded off with a visit to UNIZIK FM and Purity FM, Mgbakwu, Awka North LGA.                   

At UNIZIK FM, the author Sir Chuka Nnabuife told our hosts that he came to intimate them on the preparations ahead of his three new Books Public Presentation, which include:      

Home land Catalysis More than just Anambra Narratives.            

Mbize, Rage of Red Earth in Igbo Land and 

Nigeria Civil War (1967-1970) Holes in our Bubbles.               

He said that the books articulate hairy-raising and revolutionary contemporary issues, adding that students of mass communication and potential journalists  should read the books  and be informed of the past, so as to be parr of the solutions to society's problems. 

In her response,  the director of the station and former dean Faculty of Social Sciences, UNIZIK, Prof Stella Okunna, commended, the author  for his ingenuity and intellectual ability to write three books, which could help to correct the ills in the society and promised to assist in any way possible to publicize the works.                         

In her contribution, the Head of department, mass communication, Prof Chinwe, said that writing article and papers are difficult, let alone writing more than a book. She praised the author for motivating journalists and showing a good example in the pen profession.                  

In his vote of thanks, the committee chairman Dr Paul Ifeanyi, appreciated the stations director Prof Stella Okunna, who is the first female Professor of Mass Communication in Nigeria, for her simplicity, mentorship and exploits in the communication industry. He also showed praises on the station's management for a warm reception accorded the delegation.
