Outrage rises as Nigerian student throws a-day-old baby over fence

Outrage is growing on social media around the country as Nigerians wait on the police in Anambra to act following the release of a video that showed how a female student of Federal Polytechnic, Oko to throw away her newborn baby.

The yet unidentified lady according to sources had moved into a male hostel, Munachi Hostel, Oko, Orumba North Local Government Area to have her baby in her boyfriend’s room.

The incident happened on Friday, March 6.

The baby was successfully delivered and thrown alive over the fence.

However, by a twist of fate, the fence caught the baby sparking curiosity and outrage among those living around.

The uproar led to the arrest of a roommate of the boyfriend of the lady.

The baby was taken to a private hospital where it is recovering.

However, neither the mother nor the supposed boyfriend have been apprehended as at the time of this report.
