Obiano Lights Up Anambra for Christmas

...Time to Embellish Your Homes and Premises with Beautiful Decorations!

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano yesterday evening inspected Christmas decorations in the State; from Upper Iweka, Onitsha through the well lit good road networks to Kenneth Dike Library in Awka, where the symbolic switch on of the Lights for the 2019 Christmas Celebrations was performed.

Accompanied by members of his cabinet and Honourable Members of the State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Rt Hon Uche Okafor, the Governor appreciated the presence of our respected traditional rulers and revered religious leaders; party stalwarts; ndi Anambra and well wishers who thronged the venues of the event, in admiration, as fire works pervaded the air.

With this symbolic act, all residents of the state, corporate bodies, traditional rulers, presidents-general of town unions, churches, schools, market organizations and hotels are by this action encouraged to decorate in and around their premises and other strategic places in their communities in order to depict the mood of Christmas.

The Christmas period is no doubt a very good season for spending time with loved ones. Adding a Christmas tree, wreaths, garlands, ornaments, tableware, lights, stockings and other holiday accents can transform any space in a home, church, hotel, market or town into a festive wonderland.

Also, cleaning the surroundings, cutting of grasses and adding a new coat of paint for those who can afford it could be a great way to celebrate the season.

The administration of Gov Obiano has continued to make bold efforts to change the landscape of the cities in the Anambra State through the construction of good road networks, bridges, flyovers and other infrastructure.

Ndi Anambra can only complement and encourage our hardworking Governor, in this season of sacrificial giving and love, by embellishing their homes and premises with Christmas decorations.

Recall that the beautiful decorations with aesthetic pleasure inspected by the Governor were done by philanthropic indigenes, corporate organizations and friends of Anambra State who want to encourage the Governor for his giant strides in the state.

Thus, it's the right time to cultivate your own unique look this Christmas season.

Keep your surroundings clean, paint and decorate your homes and premises and celebrate this year's Christmas in style.

The Christmas Season has been officially ushered into Anambra State; and there's adequate security for residents and returnees alike through out the Yuletide Season and beyond.
